BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University volleyball team under the direction of second-year Head Coach Scott Carter opens the 2016 season when it travels to Latrobe, Pennsylvania to compete in the Bearcat Challenge hosted by St. Vincent University on September 2-3.
The schedule features three other tournaments highlighted by the 18th annual Marcia French Memorial Tournament on September 9 and 10 on the campuses of BW and Case Western Reserve University. The Yellow Jackets will also compete in in the St. John Fisher (N.Y.) College Tournament on September 16-17 and the annual Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and Ohio Athletic Conference Crossover on September 23-24.
BW will host its first home dual match on September 7 when it hosts a non-conference match against Penn State Behrend College on September 7. The Yellow Jackets also hosts non-league matches against Franciscan University on September 12 and Case Western Reserve on September 21.
BW opens OAC action when it hosts Marietta College on October 1. The Yellow Jackets will also host league matches against Wilmington College on October 8, Heidelberg University on October 18, Ohio Northern University on October 25 and will close the regular season home schedule with a Seniors' and Parents' Day match against Capital University on October 29.

The OAC Tournament is slated for November 1-5.
BW finished the 2015 season with an overall record of 23-7 and a third place finish in the OAC standing with a mark of 6-3.
