BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team, under the direction of second-year head coach Dean Morse, will open the 2019-2020 schedule with a road match against non-conference opponent Franciscan University on September 3.
The Yellow Jackets will then travel to Adrian (Mich.) College the following weekend for a single match on September 9.
BW will host Notre Dame College on September 11 for the inaugural home match of the season and then will compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Region Championships over the dates of September 19-21.
After an away contest at Oberlin College on February 8 the Yellow Jackets will play five matches duing Spring Break over the span of March 8-12.
BW will return home for a two-game home-stand which starts with Capital University on March 21 for its Ohio Athletic Conference opener, and will host Marietta College on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts on March 28. The Yellow Jackets finish March with an away match against Grove City (Pa.) College on March 31.
To begin April, BW will travel to University Heights to take on the reigning OAC Champions, John Carroll University on April 1. The Yellow Jackets will host Ohio Northern University in the final home match of the season on April 8 and will close out April with road matches against Muskingum University, Heidelberg University, the University of Mount Union, and Otterbein University.
The OAC tournament will begin on April 28 with quarterfinals and the semifinals will be contested on May 1. The finals will be played on May 2, with all matches being played at the Linder Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.
