Women's Tennis Falls to Mount Union in Opening Round of OAC Tournament

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team fell to the University of Mount Union, 5-0 in the opening round of the Ohio Athletic Conference tournament on the Whitehill Tennis Courts.

In No. 1 doubles, BW (4-14, 4-5 OAC) battled behind sophomore Jayde Robinson (Cincinnati/School for Creative & Performing Arts) and senior Imani Robinson (Cincinnati/School for Creative & Performing Arts) before the duo fell, 8-7. The team of sophomore Ashtyn Morris (Salem) and junior Becca Liebler (Medina) suffered an 8-3 defeat in No. 2 doubles. The Yellow Jackets dropped No. 3 doubles, 8-2.

In singles action, Imani Robinson fell in No. 3 singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-1. Sophomore Emma Hubbard (Ortonville, Mich./Brandon High School) fell by scores of 6-2 and 6-2 in No. 6 singles.
