Lauren Piechowiak '10 is in her sixth season as an assistant coach with the Baldwin Wallace University softball team in 2020.
Piechowiak returns to her alma mater after serving as a coach with local travel softball teams for ages 12U to 16U. She also served as the junior varsity coach in 2011 and the varsity coach in 2012 at her high school alma mater of Stronsgville.
As a player at BW, Piechowiak played played four years of softball and earned four varsity letters. She appeared in 131 games with 126 starts at second base. Piechowiak had 53 hits, nine doubles, five homeruns, 33 RBI and nine stolen bases.
While at Strongsville, she played four years of softball and earned three varsity letters.
Piechowiak resides in Stronsgville and is an exercise physiologist with the Cleveland Clinic.
