BEREA, Ohio – The 2019-20 Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team has announced their schedule with an invite to the Oberlin Invitational on September 21 and 22.
From October 4-6, the Yellow Jackets will compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Region Championships, hosted by Kalamazoo (Mich.) College, to conclude the fall portion of the schedule.
The spring schedule will begin with a two-game home stand as BW hosts Penn St. (Pa.) Behrend on February 14 to open the Pop Collins Tennis Courts. The following weekend, the Yellow Jackets welcome Thiel (Pa.) College to Berea for a non-conference matchup on February 21.
From April 8-12, BW will travel to South Carolina for its annual spring trip.
The Yellow Jackets open Ohio Athletic Conference play with a two-game road trip, starting with Capital University on March 21, and follow up with a match at Marietta College on March 28. BW welcomes the OAC reigning champions in John Carroll University to Berea on April 1 and then travels to Ada, Ohio to take on Ohio Northern University on April 8. The final four matches of the season will be at home against Muskingum University, Heidelberg University, the University of Mount Union, and Otterbein University.
The OAC tournament quarterfinals will be contested on April 28, semifinals on May 1, and the finals will be decided on May 2. The matches will be played at the Linder Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.
