Brad Robinson '14 is entering his first season as an assistant men's basketball coach with Baldwin Wallace University.
Robinson returns to his alma mater after spending two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Defiance College. During his two years there, Defiance compiled a 37-18 record with two Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season championships and one HCAC conference tournament championship, advancing into the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 after defeating No. 2 Wisconsin-Whitewater in the first round.
Some of his responsibilities at Defiance included analyzing game film, creating and presenting scouting reports and game plans, assisting in practice plans and drills, assisting in the development of fundraising activities and evaluating and recruiting high school athletes. Robinson also served as the men's basketball academic coordinator and the youth basketball camp and shootout coordinator while at Defiance.
During his time as an undergrad at Baldwin Wallace, Robinson served as a student coach with the men's basketball team for four seasons where he assisted in on-court coaching in practice, recruiting student-athletes, participating in coach discussions in the games and practices, evaluating players and games and daily managerial operations of the program.
Robinson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in sport management from Baldwin Wallace in May 2014 and obtained his Master of Arts in education from Defiance College in May of 2016.
