KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball senior three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference and two-time Academic All-OAC guard Jay Battle (Gahanna/Lincoln) adds another accolade to his mantle with a Second-Team All-Great Lakes District, via the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

This honor adds to a First-team All-OAC selection and a All-Great Lakes Region Second-team for the senior guard.

Battle's career-high 33-point outburst in the OAC Championship game propelled BW to their first title since 2006, as the guard was named the Most Valuable Player in the OAC Tournament.

He led the OAC with a career-best 547 points (18.2 ppg) and was sixth with 91 assists (3.0). Battle scored double-figures in 29-of-30 contests this season with four 30-point performances, and ends his career ranked 11th on BW's All-Time Scoring List with 1, 548 points.  The versatile guard set a career-high with 120 rebounds (4.0 rpg), steals with 29 (1.0 spg), and blocks with 11.
