Men’s Basketball Selected No. 20 in First Weekly poll

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team was ranked No. 20 in the first weekly poll announced on Monday.

BW (4-0) received 116 points to crack the top-25 for the first time since the 2006-07 season when they were ranked No. 13.

The Yellow Jackets, who have defeated Case Western Reserve University, St. Mary's (Md. College, New Jersey City College and Trine (Ind.) University, are 4-0 to begin the season for the first time since 2005-06.

Amherst (Mass.) College took the top spot with 611 points and 19 first place votes, second is Babson (Mass.) College with 599 points and five first place votes and fellow Ohio Athletic Conference member Marietta College ranked fourth with 542 points and received one first place vote.

BW is back in action on Saturday, December 3 when it opens OAC action against the No. 4 ranked Marietta College Pioneers in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center at 3 p.m.
