BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University football team, under the direction of second-year Head Coach Jim Hilvert, will open up the 2018 season with three consecutive home games.
Hilvert and the Yellow Jackets will host Alma (Mich.) College for their lone non-conference game in the home- and season-opener on Thursday, August 30, at 6 p.m. inside George Finnie Stadium.
Then, Otterbein University will travel to Berea for the Ohio Athletic Conference opener on Saturday, September 8, at 6 p.m. followed by the University of Mount Union for Community and Family Day as well as Homecoming on Saturday, September 15, at 2 p.m.
BW will hit the road for the first time on Saturday, September 22, when the Yellow Jackets travel to Tiffin to take on Heidelberg University at 7 p.m. in the team's final night game of the season.
After another road game against Capital University on September 29, the Yellow Jackets return home to host Muskingum University on October 13 at 1:30 p.m.
Road action continues with two OAC games against Wilmington College on October 20 and Marietta College on October 27 before BW closes out the home portion of its schedule by welcoming Ohio Northern University on November 3 for Seniors' and Parents' Day.
BW closes out the 2018 regular season when it travels to University Heights on November 10 to take on OAC and crosstown rival John Carroll University in the 30th Battle for the Cuyahoga Gold Bowl Trophy.
