Asa Adams '19 served as an assistant coach for the Yellow Jackets in 2019-2020 and worked with the catchers.

Coach Adams is extremely familiar with the Yellow Jacket baseball program. He played four years of baseball at BW and earned three varsity letters. He alternated at catcher and designated hitter and got increasingly better each season, including having his finest season as a senior. Coach Adams helped the Yellow Jackets have four straight 20-win seasons, make two appearances in the NCAA Division III National Tournament, including in the Midwest Regional Championship Game in 2019, win an Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament title in 2018 and an OAC regular season crown in 2019. During his four seasons in the Brown & Gold, BW fashioned a 105-68 record.

Individually, Coach Adams was an All-OAC selection and served as a team captain as a senior (second-team). For his career, he appeared in 92 games, including 53 starts, batted .311 with 75 base hits in 241 at-bats with 51 runs scored, 25 doubles, two triples, 35 runs batted-in (RBI) and eight stolen bases. He had a .983 career fielding average and threw out 24 base stealers.

In the classroom, the sport management major from Sarver, Pennsylvania and Knoch High School, compiled a 3.133 grade average and was a member of BW's Sport Management Club.
