Jeff Miller '96 enters his 10th year in the Baldwin Wallace University Office of Athletic Communications in 2019-20.  He was named the Sports and Media Information Director on July 1, 2016 after serving two years as the Associate Director of Sports Information as well as four years as the Assistant Sports Information Director.

Miller, a native of Olmsted Township, Ohio, was promoted to lead the communications, publicity and in-game statistical recording for BW's 23 intercollegiate teams.  In addition, he operates and produces BW's athletic video board and media production on the video scoreboard in Finnie Stadium as well as the video scoreboard in Ursprung Gymnasium.  

In 2018-109, Miller will serve as the primary contact for football, golf, softball and swimming and diving.

He returned to his alma mater and sports public relations in September 2010.  Prior to rejoining the Yellow Jacket Office of Sports Information, Miller served as an Inside Sales Representative for Metro Disposal and before that was the Membership Director at the West Shore Family YMCA in Westlake, Ohio.

Before the YMCA, he was the Director of Public Relations for the Cleveland Force, which ceased operations in May 2002.  Miller was responsible for the marketing, public relations, publications and statistics for the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) franchise.

He also has served as the Director of Sports Information at Oberlin College (1998-2002), Media Relations Assistant for the Cleveland Cavaliers (1997-98) and as Sports Information Assistant at Texas State University at San Marcos (1996-97).

While at BW, Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sport management and a minor in business administration.  He was a student assistant in the Office of Sports Information all four years and served as a crew chief for several sports.  In addition, Miller was a member of the Yellow Jacket club soccer team all four years and served as the club’s treasurer and president.

He is an active member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and served on the Capital One Academic All-America committee.

Miller resides in Olmsted Township.
