Brown and Gold Club

Introducing the Brown & Gold Club

Introducing the Brown & Gold Club for all teams and all players. Sponsored by BW Athletics and the BW Alumni Association, this new club is led by athletic alumni focused on rallying the spirit, energy and support from all BW athletes.

The mission of the Brown & Gold Club is to bring together our alumni and friends to help current and future student-athletes to excel; to support a winning culture through stewardship, membership and friendship; to connect with alumni and current and future student-athletes in meaningful ways through gatherings and events as well as supporting the Yellow Jackets; and to honor our shared history of BW athletics.

As Yellow Jackets for Life (YJ4L), we embody the call of legendary BW Coach Eddie Finnegan, “It is very easy to be ordinary, but it takes courage to excel….. And We Must Excel.” Support of BW athletics will give current and future Yellow Jackets the opportunity to excel as a team, player and scholar. And as alumni of the great BW history you are called to excel.

Membership

Membership is free to all athletic alumni. There will be many ways alumni can lend support through fundraisers and projects. Plus, there will be plenty of new ways to stay connected to past team history and the success of current Yellow Jacket teams.

Previous members of the men's Lettermen's Association and the Women's Alumni Athletic Association (WAAA) have reorganized and combined to form the Brown & Gold Club and expanded membership to all teams and all players. Sponsored by BW Athletics and the BW Alumni Association, this new club is led by athletic alumni focused on rallying the spirit, energy and support from all BW athletes.
