Freshman of the Year Award Winners

The Freshman-of-the Year Award is presented to the most outstanding freshman player in the Ohio Athletic Conference.  The award, which was first handed out during the 2009-10 season, is voted upon by the League coaches.

  • Led the team in scoring and was sixth in the OAC in scoring with 15.7 points-per-game
  • Second on team in rebounding with 4.8 rebounds-per-game
  • Tied for second in blocks with 9
  • Named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on November 29, 2010.
  • Named to All-Tournament Team at 2011 ECAC Holiday Classic / BW won team title

2014-15:

  • Second on the team and tied for third in OAC with 14.0 points-per-game
  • Led the team and was second in OAC in free throw percentage at 89.1%
  • Made 37 straight free throws
  • Led the team in scoring in eight games
  • Named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on January 12, 2015
