    BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College veteran Head Baseball Coach Bob Fisher announced the 2009 team award winners. They are freshman shortstopAnthony Longhitano (Cuyahoga Falls), senior pitcher Brandon Fredericks (Copley/ Richfield Revere), senior first baseman Riley Kreisher (Conneaut/ Ashtabula Edgewood), senior centerfielder Cody Kidd (Wellington), junior outfielder/pitcher Chris Nealon (Avon Lake) and sophomore outfielder Ben Stoper (Medina/ Senior).

    BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior centerfielder Matthew 'Cody' Kidd (Wellington) has been selected as a 2009 First-Team ESPN THE MAGAZINE Baseball Academic All-American. Kidd was a third-team honoree in 2008.

They include senior outfielders Cody Kidd (Wellington) and Mike Brisky (Berea), senior pitchers Brandon Fredericks (Copley/ Richfield Revere) and Jim Jaskowak (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) and junior pitcher Justin Novak (Strongsville).

    BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College baseball seniors Cody Kidd (Wellington) and Riley Kreisher (Ashtabula/ Edgewood) have been named to the 2009 American Baseball Coaches Assocation (ABCA) All-Mideast Region team. Both were tabbed as second-team selections and Kreisher received an ABCA Gold Glove Award for his defensive play at first base.

Centerfielder Cody Kidd (Wellington) and first baseman Riley Kreisher (Ashtabula/ Edgewood) were first-team selections and pitcher Brandon Fredericks (Copley/ Richfield Revere) was an honorable mention pick.

    BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior outfielders Cody Kidd (Wellington) and Mike Brisky (Berea) and senior pitcher Brandon Fredericks (Copley/ Richfield Revere) have been named to the 2009 ESPN THE MAGAZINE Academic All-District IV baseball team. Kidd, a 2008 Academic All-American, was chosen as a first-team selection and becomes eligible for the All-American process for the second consecutive year. Briskyand Fredericks were tabbed as second-team selections.
